FirstBlood successfully integrates MakerDAO to boost gaming

The partnership sees the MakerDAO solution integrated directly into FirstBlood Platform.

As a result, MakerDAO will boost accessibility for esports fans and aspiring gamers, as well as strive to attract a crop of professional gamers in the process.

MakerDAO is the creator of Dai, a cryptocurrency targeting the gaming community.

As a result of the partnership, gamers will have the ability to carry out cross-border payments quickly and reliably, with MakerDAO hoping that Dai will shape itself as the defining crypto token for the gambling experience as a whole.

To benefit fully from the token and new solution, players will have to game at FirstBlood.

The company's Co-Founder and CEO Joe Zhou said that the company's aim is to nurture a massive community behind the Dai token and help bring around blockchain adoption in the world of competitive gaming.

Other executives, too, have agreed that the use of Dai is perfect, as it empowers the gaming experience for consumers at FirstBlood.

This is hardly the first time crypto solutions have made it into gaming.

On the one hand, crypto tokens are used to bet on esports contests.

Websites such as Cloudbet, and FortuneJack run extensive betting markets to that end.

Then again, there are dedicated gaming solutions such as CryptoKittens that rely entirely on blockchain solutions.

Recently, Atari, a video gaming company, announced that it would enhance the gaming experience by introducing its own crypto token.

The forays into gaming continue with blockchain shaping up as a far more important part of the experience than previously suspected.
