EXCLUSIVE: Omitch to build Web 3.0 gaming platform

The company is creating a blockchain-based casino to provide a 'future without fear' for crypto gamblers.

Decentralized gaming system Omitch is building a Web 3.0 casino.

Users will have access to a range of play-to-earn casino games to either play alone, with friends or with other gamers on the platform.

Baccarat, black and red, cards, crash, dice, poker, roulette and slots are among the games included.

Alongside winning rewards, users can participate in the gaming system by staking. In exchange, stakers deposit stablecoins into the protocol and earn annual percentage yield (APY), as well as partaking in the protocol's profit and loss.

Several crypto gamblers have had their accounts banned by centralized companies and lost money as a result.

Omitch's initiative is backed by a pool of assets from liquidity providers and is aimed at solving the problem of security in the gambling space.

The new casino will support a decentralized know-your-customer (KYC) platform, the official launch date has yet to be disclosed but is expected to commence before November 20 and ahead of the World Cup.

“We envision a future where bettors would be able to place bets without fear of losing their money due to a ban”, an Omitch spokesperson said.
