Exbet API hits beta milestone

The ‘Bitcoin betting exchange', crypto’s equivalent to Betfair, allows punters to back and lay sports bets using BTC. The solution resembles mainstream betting exchanges, while adding the benefits of cryptocurrency, with the concept gaining massive traction in recent years in traditional currency form.

Exbet has driven decisive product updates to deliver a user-friendly crypto solution. The exchange allows you to set your own prices, charging a flat 1% commission with no hidden charges.

As part of the beta, the Exbet API now allows third-party developers and market makers to build customised betting tools to interact with the brand’s exchange. Exbet is inviting interested parties to get in touch to participate in the beta.

David Evans, COO at Exbet, commented on the release of the beta solution, touting Exbet’s immense potential to drive exchange use in crypto. He had this to say:

“We're excited to take this next step in the evolution of the Exbet Bitcoin betting exchange. The Exbet API is the first time that betting exchange API standards have been brought to the Bitcoin sports betting industry. Professional bettors require professional tools, and that is exactly what the Exbet API provides the foundation for.”

The official launch of the platform is still scheduled for some point in 2020. Exbet previously announced its beta in August 2019.

The company said it would seek a full commercial release at some point in September 2020. The platform’s closed beta released in October 2019 and was well-received by the community.

According to a spokesperson who spoke to CryptoGamblingNews.com, its usability was greeted with a lot of praise from established crypto and FIAT exchange veterans.
