Ethereum transactions surpass Bitcoin by 28%

Ethereum seems to be accelerating quickly with the daily volume of transaction overtaking Bitcoin’s transactional numbers by 28%, according to crypto analytics firm Messari.

Analyst Ryan Watkins said that the daily transaction volume for Ethereum continues to grow and not least thanks to stablecoins which have accounted for $12.3bn in the 24 hours to January 19.

Some of the positive developments in Ethereum have been chalked up to layer-two solutions.

On the flipside, there is Bitcoin, which has transacted only $9.3bn. For the sake of accuracy, Messari has excluded ERC-20 transaction lest it counts DEX volumes twice and stilt the data unrealistically.

Interestingly, Ethereum's node count is at 94% and this is more good news, with the trade volume at 57% of Bitcoin's.

Interestingly, though, traffic and search volume for Ethereum compared to Bitcoin remains low. Recently, Ethereum stock on decentralized exchanges began to decline rapidly.

Ethereum searches on Google are just 14% of Bitcoin's volume, meaning that interest in the currency is still not quite up there.

While Ethereum is trying to catch up to Bitcoin, there has been a lot of interest for the currency in crypto gaming.

Gaming sites such as Bitcasino, Cloudbet and 1xBit support and use numerous crypto currencies to make the experience much easier.
