Decent.bet (DBET) is leading a rally of gambling-focused cryptocurrencies, surging 60 percent so far in march on the back of a major new product announcement.
Earlier this month, the Decent.Bet team said it would be launching a new esports platform that will allow users to bet on themselves in popular video games including Fortnite. The market appears to have reacted strongly to the news; Decent.Bet’s DBET token is currently trading at $0.0509 for a market cap of around $9.5m, up from $5.7m at the start of the month.
Elsewhere the leading gambling-dedicated cryptocurrency by market cap, FunFair (FUN), has also enjoyed a good month. It has added around 25 percent to its value so far in March, off the back of a growing user base for its CasinoFair product.
The top ten crypto gambling altcoin by market cap now have a combined value of almost $90m, an encouraging sign for the sector but still a long way from the $1.5 billion they were valued at in January 2018.
