Crypto.com adds BONE to exchange

The crypto exchange has added Shiba Inu’s BONE and can now be traded against the dollar.

Cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com has added Shiba Inu’s BONE token to its listings and is now available to trade against the US dollar.

BONE is a newly created altcoin proposed for fee payment on Shibarium, a Layer 2 protocol expected to allow developers to build scalable apps and build custom tokens that will be available for the Shiba Inu community.

The exchange announced the new listing on Twitter with Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama quote tweeting the announcement “MEGA WOOF!!!!!” alongside a GIF of Terry Crews.

BONE was recently listed on South Korean exchange Gate.io and Hong Kong exchange Huobi.

Fans are hoping listing on Crypto.com will see fellow exchange Binance also list the token with a petition gathering over 2000 signatures for that outcome.

While the release date for Shibarium has been a subject of speculation, Kusama insists there is no definite launch date to avoid any disappointment due to potential delays, but a beta launch is thought to be close.

The token price has risen by almost 90% since January 2023 and entered the top 100 by market capitalisation for the first time last month.
