CoinPoker launches crypto poker tournament

Throughout the whole month of May, CoinPoker will offer an average of 14-18 poker events per day

On May 5, online crypto poker platform CoinPoker kicked off its CSOP Plus (CSOP+) tournament, which is dubbed to be the most significant crypto poker event of the year.

CSOP+ participants can vie for a portion of a whopping $25m prize pool. This makes the tournament highly attractive for MTT (Multi-Table Tournament) fans across the globe.

The whole of May will be packed with a number of CSOP+ tournaments sometimes reaching 14-18 events per day. However, it is important to note that no contests are scheduled for Fridays. This action-packed program will give players of all budget levels plenty of opportunities to compete for and grab a share of the impressive prize pool.

CoinPoker held another tournament in April, which ran for ten days and offered a total prize pool of $1m. However, CSOP+ is a much grander event both when it comes to scale and potential rewards.

May 26 will be one of the CSOP+ pinnacles. Four main events with guaranteed prizes are scheduled for that date with a range of different buy-ins catering to all budget levels:

– $50 Main Event: $12,000 guaranteed

– $200 Main Event: $80,000 guaranteed

– $1,000 Main Event: $400,000 guaranteed

– $5,000 High-Roller Main: $500,000 guaranteed

CoinPoker offers a wide range of poker games that cater to all tastes. The games include but are not limited to NLHE, PLO, 5 Card PLO, and Cosmic Spins.

The platform is accessible through its desktop app, available for Windows and Mac users, and through its mobile app, which is currently only for Android, but the CoinPoker team is working on an iOS version.

CoinPoker uses a decentralized random number generation (RNG) for card shuffling thus ensuring transparent outcomes that can be audited by anyone. The platform provides a fairer and more accessible alternative to traditional online poker websites.

CoinPoker operates on the Ethereum blockchain and accepts a range of cryptocurrencies, including USDT, CoinPoker’s native token $CHP, ETH, BTC, MATIC, BNB, etc.

Last month, CoinPoker announced that it is removing all withdrawal fees, excluding standard network transaction fees. The move aims to attract more users to the platform and enhance the user experience for existing players.

The platform's native utility token, $CHP, facilitates various activities on the platform such as transactions, smart contract execution, and game participation.
