$CITY goes live on OKX exchange

OKX has announced $CITY has gone live on its exchange as part of its partnership with Manchester City.

The world’s second largest cryptocurrency exchange OKX has announced it’s now listing $CITY – the official fan token of Premier League Manchester City.

OKX agreed a deal to become a partner of the current title holders in the summer. With the $CITY tokens created to be used on Socios.com – an engagement and reward app by Chiliz.

Holders of $CITY tokens can unlock exclusive rewards, engage with community members and vote in polls, play games and enter competitions to win VIP experiences and tickets.

When signing the deal City Football Group chief operating officer Roel De Vries said: “The new partnership aligns our shared values of innovation, drive for success and being at the cutting edge of our respective industries.

“Their broad and inclusive approach to targeting diverse audiences resonates with our approach. We look forward to working together throughout the partnership.”

Manchester City fans have already had the chance to vote on their ‘Moment of the Season’ using their tokens, as well as play a part in deciding which wall designs were at Wembley.

The Citizens, as they are commonly referred to be fans, currently sit second in the Premier League table, a point behind Arsenal, having won five of their opening seven games.

$CITY tokens can be traded on OKX with USDT. More than 20 million customers around the world have trusted the platform with its cryptocurrency and FIAT.

As well as Manchester City, OKX also works with Formula 1 manufacturer McClaren and driver Daniel Ricciardo, golfer Ian Poulter and Olympian Scotty James.
