The partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of gamefi and metaverse projects.

Blockchain gaming and entertainment company Catheon Gaming has informed its community of its next move in establishing a partnership with decentralized blockchain oracle network Chainlink.

The partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of gamefi and connect the ecosystem of Catheon Gaming with Chainlink’s services.

In a blog post, Catheon Gaming announced that any projects displaying innovation and ambition with a promising future will be considered under the channel partnership.

Both blockchain firms will work together on different marketing initiatives to “boost the growth of the projects and their ecosystems”.

Catheon Gaming believes that Chainlink’s oracle solutions “play a vital role in the growth of the gamefi and metaverse sectors”.

The company is hopeful that the use of Chainlink’s real-time data and off-chain computation will open doors for the growth and adoption of web3 gaming.

Catheon Gaming co-chief executive officer William Wu said: “We’re pleased to enter into a channel partnership with Chainlink Labs to help accelerate the adoption of gamefi projects.

“As a result of this collaboration, gaming projects in our ecosystem will be able to build more reliable and performant applications and gain user adoption faster by benefitting from the technical and marketing support of Chainlink Labs.”
