CasinoFair 30,000 FUN Challenge – To the moon? (Final part)

Last time out, our attempt to double up a starting bankroll of 30,000 $FUN took a setback following a poor run of luck on new DeFi-themed game Crypto Trader Rush.

But as anyone in this game knows, luck can change quickly, and we were still very much in the hunt.

With the weekend around the corner, the CGN team was already dreaming of what we might do with the winnings if we could manage to complete the challenge today.

The great thing about CasinoFair is that there’s no long waits to withdraw your winnings. You can have the funds back in your own wallet in moments, ready to spend on whatever it is you fancy.

With that in mind, we decided to ramp things up in an all-or-nothing attempt to reach our goal.

Of course, we attempted this in our last CasinoFair challenge, and things didn’t exactly work out as planned. But having seen out bankroll diminish to around 50 percent of its starting balance, we needed to take drastic action.

For something a little different, we fire up Raceday Horses, FunFair’s own virtual horse racing game, to see if we could change our fortunes.

With the horses at the gate at Cryptowood racecourse, we spotted a horse which took our fancy: Famously Fun, who could be had at 2.05 for a top 2 finish. We put down 5,000 $FUN on the outcome.

But despite an encouraging start, our horse was pipped on the line and only finished fourth.

With the bankroll down to 10,000 $FUN, things were not looking good. In the next race, we took a punt on Kay Why Sea, again for a top two finish, this time at 2.73, for another 5,000 $FUN.

But again our pick didn’t work out. Our horse lagged behind for most of the race, finishing fifth.

We need a miracle, and so it came down to this.

With 5,500 $FUN left, we took an all-in punt on an outside, Bullrun. If the horse could pull off the result of the century, we’d complete our challenge in one go. The 11.29 shot for the win would bag us more than 62,000 $FUN!

We saddled up and crossed our fingers.

This time, our horse was in the race. He surged out of the gate, defying his outsider status.

Midway through, it looked like he might just do it.

But his legs gave way, he fell back, and ended up a respectable fourth.

It was a disappointing end to the challenge, but we couldn’t blame Bullrun.

And despite not getting the final result we wanted, we did enjoy a range of fantastic games.

With lessons learned, we look forward to the next attempt. We hope you enjoyed this CasinoFair challenge, and remember, always gamble responsibly and only with money you can afford to lose.
