Bybit sponsors MIBR

MIBR, the biggest esports team in Brazil, has signed a partnership with cryptocurrency exchange Bybit.

Brazil is embracing both esports and cryptocurrency at a good clip and Bybit’s logo and imagery will now be available across MIBR’s social media channels, reaching millions of video gamers in the country.

Bybit will sponsor MIBR’s professional esports teams, both male and female, across a number of popular video gaming disciplines, including Rainbow Six, Valorant, Free Fire and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The partnership establishes fresh synergies between the world of crypto and esports which target similar demographics – young people with plenty of disposable income whose interests extend beyond traditional sports and finance. The partnership is a symbolic move to bring these two communities together.

MIBR CEO Roberta Coelho has hailed it as a new era in the relationship between the two companies. The esports demographics is “up only” in the sense that it gives companies access to young people interested in the activities with new people constantly arriving and embracing the market.

Bybit hopes to strengthen its position in Brazil as well as attract more video gamers into its ranks. “We are excited to partner with MIBR as the first sponsorship deal for Bybit Brazil. We share the vision of real sportsmanship, and the drive to be the best in the game”, said Bybit Brazil representative.

Bybit argues that video gamers are known as competitive and strategic consumers who can transfer those qualities to the world of digital assets and the exchange is there to ensure that when this happens, they have a reliable option to choose.

Meanwhile, esports betting with cryptocurrencies has been thriving. If you want to bet on your favorite esports with crypto, you may do so at Sportsbet.io, Cloudbet, and 1xBit.
