Bybit partners with Cybersport.ru and RuHub

Crypto exchange Bybit has expanded its presence in esports through a new partnership with Russian-language media outlet Cybersport.ru and RuHub broadcast studio.

The partnership will see RuHub and Cybersport.ru run various marketing initiatives for the crypto exchange, helping Bybit garner more exposure among esports fans which is one of the company's key demographics right now.

Both RuHub and Cybersport.ru are part of the ESforce Holding group and have strong ties with a tech-savvy audience of esports players who come to watch various events hosted and reported on by the organizations.

Bybit marketing manager for Russian markets Anastasia Koltovich said: “Led by the global office of Bybit, we have already managed to launch several interesting collaborations with the largest esports clubs, and a logical continuation of acquaintance with the Russian-speaking audience will be cooperation with the main industry media like Cybersport.ru and RuHub. We hope that our joint projects aimed at bringing the crypto trading and gaming technology industries closer together will appeal to esports fans.”

The news was welcomed by ESforce Holding media director Nikolay Petrossian who said that the group was happy to advance and showcase new technologies to esports fans.

Bybit is steadily building its clout in esports through numerous partnerships in the vertical. The company has signed numerous partnerships with some of the biggest esports teams and organizations around the world, including Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro and Astralis.

All of these organizations are now officially part of Bybit's network of sponsored teams. In return, Bybit hopes to benefit from greater exposure to gamers.

Esports players from each of the partner organizations will join the company's dedicated World Series of Crypto (WSO) which will challenge them to carry out the best crypto trades.

Bybit is well represented in traditional sports as well. The organization struck up a partnership with Borussia Dortmund late in 2020.
