Speaking to CalvinAyre’s Becky Liggero Fontana at CoinGeek Live, Nguyen mulled some of the popular problems that Bitcoin can solve and make the gambling industry safer, more transparent, and overall better from a consumer and business standpoint.
He cautioned, though, that a few currencies should be considered as vessels of this positive change, warning that many companies have been trying to coin their own currency. That’s way too many, Nguyen said.
Nguyen acknowledged that the first companies to try their hand at crypto iGaming have had a lot to figure out. And, with more companies joining, it has all become “a bit of a mess.”
He noted that Bitcoin was already an established token and one that also constituted network, asking rhetorically if it wouldn’t just be simpler for most companies to subscribe to Bitcoin gaming rather than pushing for unknown tokens that would take years to build a reputation if they succeed at all.
Other challenges lie therein, Nguyen believes, but to help bring the world of crypto gambling together and set a communal course for the future, he believes that CoinGeek Live can be a starting point.
Admittedly, Nguyen will focus on Bitcoin SV as a way to bolster the iGaming industry first and foremost, and there are already many companies that embrace Bitcoin as a preferred gaming currency, including Bitcasino.io, FortuneJack, and 1xBit.
