Bitcoin sees unprecedented level of social media interest

Social media engagement and news sharing about Bitcoin developments has reached a new high with over 70,000 unique Twitter handles sharing news.

Social media users have been sharing, re-tweeting and commenting on news and developments about BTC, analyzing its key metrics and trying to predict its future.

In terms of unique Twitter handles tweeting about Bitcoin, the numbers have reached 66,832 registered addresses. While there is no way of knowing if these addresses are owned by unique parties, the most likely answer is yes.

The number is higher than the 54,652 Twitter handles which were tweeting about Bitcoin back in 2017. In fact, according to The Tie, a company analyzing social media trends, the numbers have already risen above 70,000 bringing the total number, in terms of overall crypto tweets, to a quarter million within 24 hours.

Social media engagement has increased on all social media channels, including those beyond Twitter, The Tie reported.

Bitcoin casinos have seen a spike in new customers and reengagement from existing player bases. Places such as Bitcasino.io, FortuneJack, and BitStarz all offer exceptional opportunities to bet and gamble with Bitcoin.
