Crypto-friendly igaming supplier has reported sustained interest in crypto in the gambling market over the latest quarter of the financial year.
Bitcoin is the most popular form of crypto, according to BGaming although Litecoin has seen a 49% increase in adoption over the past quarter.
Tether came in third, with USDT picking up 108%. BGaming is basing this information on what cryptocurrencies were used across its own products in the igaming sector during the quarter.
BGaming looked at a number of third-quarter trends in gaming, with the intention of determining what industry developments would prove the most influential now and in future.
As BGaming’s own footprint in the igaming sector continues to grow, the company is exploring what relevant market developments may prove useful.
The company argued that the bullish market on crypto has translated into the gambling space with crypto used across the full portfolio of igaming products.
BGaming brand team lead Bogdan Gres said: “Being the world’s first igaming provider to offer cryptocurrencies, we draw particular attention to crypto gambling. BGaming widens its network of crypto projects, and we see the results. The number of explosive winnings on crypto projects has significantly raised over the past few months.”
Increase in crypto uptake has coincided with another interesting trend from an industry standpoint. There seems to be more young adults playing these days, BGaming notes. Young adult audiences have increased by 6% over the past year, the company notes.
Part of this is attributed to the fact that young adults are spending more time at home and looking for alternative forms of entertainment.
BGaming executive director Marina Ostrovtsova said: “When composing the road map of our games, we always rely on the analytics that our team collects. Of course, we strive to meet the needs of different generations, but it is important to be flexible and notice any changes in the market on time. So, for example, we see that the demand for exclusive products is growing.”
Ostrovtsova added that BGaming was fully focused on meeting the needs and preferences of new audiences as well as existing ones.
