BetProtocol has been busy of late launching various new additions to its offering, including a cost-effective, premium esports product, as well as landing its $BEPRO token on Uniswap. It has followed this up with a new game launch for its improving casino platform, Diamonds.
Diamonds was announced to the industry in a blog on August 24th by BetProtocol's COO Justin Wu, who we recently ran an exclusive interview with. Explaining the game, Wu states that the concept is “a very popular game in casinos all over the world. We've seen similar games at the likes of BitCasino and TrueFlip, and it's a quality idea that also resonates in the mobile app environment.
The goal, he states, is to match different coloured shapes and gems. Players who make more matches win more money, it's that simple. it will immediately become available to all partners in the Games Library, and those clients can choose to add Diamonds to their casino “at no additional cost”.
Throughout the blog, Justin Wu hypes the point that it is unusual for backend providers to offer their partners games, going on to say:
“They require you to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in setup fees just for the backend, and then they don’t even include games. But without games, do you really even have a gaming platform?”
It's a fair point and the platform provider seems to be doing well of late, having signed on many new clients, while being in the process of confirming new contracts.
