Atari Token to join Unikrn ecosystem

The tie-up between Atari and Unikrn will enable both companies to draw synergies and benefits. Atari’s token will be a viable currency and part of the Unikrn ecosystem, but Unikrn will now have access to award-winning classics by Atari, such as Centipede, PONG, Asteroids and other unique titles.

Speaking on this partnership, Unikrn co-founder, Rahul Sood, had this to say:

“Unikrn and Atari are pioneers in the gaming industry, changing the world around us with creativity and innovation. We know the wagering will be an increasingly driving force in the game industry's future development, and we can't wait to get the benefits of this partnership to Unikrn's community.”

Meanwhile, Atari CEO Fred Chesnais with whom we previously spoken about the project, said that Unikrn’s thriving ecosystem would provide stake holders with significant value and utility. Atari has had a string of successful partnerships recently that tie in more value to its proprietary token.

Atari joined the Arkane Network and signed with the Litecoin foundation. The company is also planning to launch its own crypto casino, which its community is looking forward to and excited about. This will be the first instance of a big traditional video gaming company branching off into the igaming sector to create and run its own casino.

Some blockchain companies have already tried and succeeded though. FunFair runs CasinoFair, which is one of the first casino projects to use the native FUN token. Other successful casino projects are also prospering, and they include brands such as Bitcasino and BitStarz which have been player favourites for a while now.
