The Atari Token will partner with Native Gaming, which offers players to “Be the House,” by staking for the bankroll. Its Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) is generated from a network of 5,000 casinos and 70 software developers, including established mainstream studios such as Evolution Gaming, Microgaming, NetEnt, and Play’n GO, and will now allow for Atari Token use.

Now, Native Gaming and Black Dog Ventures are pushing forward with a first-of-its-kind Native MMO Slot Game, which is still subject to regulatory approval. The game will unfold as a fully-fledged video game which will supplant the traditional casino experience, and specifically the slot mechanics that are associated with these games.

It will feature a “monster-catching system,” which most players will recognise from other games, such as Pokémon. Once caught, players can use their monsters to either challenge others to a duel for additional money, or just cash in the monsters in exchange for currency directly at the casino.

Commenting on these developments, Native Gaming CEO, Justin McCool had this to say:

“We are excited to be a part of what Atari is doing in both the casino and blockchain space. It’s hard to imagine a more appropriate partner to help us take our new Native MMORPG Casino Slot Game to market and bridge the gap between gamers, gamblers, and the cryptocurrency community.”

Atari CEO Fred Chesnais, with whom we had the opportunity to speak and discuss Atari’s new crypto casino ambitions, said:

“Integrating the Atari Token in Native’s ecosystem will give gamers and gamblers the opportunity to use the Atari Token as a payment method in Native’s casino slot games, meaning more financial options and flexibility for consumers.”

Atari is just one of the successful projects entering in the blockchain gaming space in a bid to secure a share of this growing market. Flagship operators such as Bitcasino and 7BitCasino have been operating on the blockchain igaming market for years now, generating significant revenue.

However, Native Gaming and Atari are now tipped to completely disrupt this market and build an entirely new dynamic. Atari has previously joined the Arkane Network and signed a big partnership with Litecoin.
