Aeria Canada partners with Ready Games

The two firms will work together in repurposing games with the aim of bringing Web 3.0 titles to Android.

Mobile publisher Aeria Canada has partnered with the arcade game Ready Games to bring Web 3.0 titles to Andriod.

The partnership will see Aeria games support Web 3.0 features as it joins with Ready Games to migrate its most successful titles.

Ready Games CEO David Bennahum said: “We are excited to support Aeria with their migration to Web3 gaming, using our suite of live operations Web3 gaming tools and innovative ecosystem token, AURA.

“Together we can further our shared mission of bringing Web3-enabled mobile games to the millions, and eventually billions, of people who play games on their phones daily”.

Currently, Aeria Games has 14 titles and one billion mobile downloads. The number of transitioning titles to Web 3.0 has not yet been disclosed or confirmed.

However, the company will start with Rescue Robots: Sniper Survival, a game with a 4.3 rating on the app store.

In addition to the repurposing, players will be provided with NFTs representing their in-game assets.

Such a move is aimed at creating a secondary marketplace for players to trade assets through their gaming experience.
