7-DAY DAPP UPDATE: Another gambling dapp disappears

PRDT takes advantage of CricSage's fall, claiming the vacant spot in the top five.

In DappRadar’s ranking dapps often come and go from the top spots. This week CricSage, which had held a top five position for the past six weeks, followed the likes of Websport.io and Shell Games before it by dropping out of the top 10 altogether.

Waxcasino and Solcasino.io stand their ground

This week, ending May 2, there were changes in the top five caused by the disappearance of CricSage. However, Waxcasino still kept its top spot for the tenth consecutive week. Despite a slight dip in UAWs by 0.2%, down to 21,840, no other dapp could budge it from its number one spot.

Waxcasino continued with its typical weekly fluctuations, with UAWs dropping to 11 on April 29 and rising to 9,700 on April 30, indicating significant day-to-day performance variations.

Solcasino.io retained its second position, which it regained in the previous week’s ranking. Despite a slight increase in UAWs by 1.65% to 3,580, it still could not beat Waxcasino and secure the top spot.

Both Solcasino.io’s volume and transactions saw positive growth, with increases of 6.9% to $2.3m and 5.6% to 15,060, respectively. As in previous weeks, Solcasino.io’s statistics remained relatively stable throughout the seven-day period with minimal fluctuations.

PRDT benefits from CricSage’s fall

Trade signal and TTCasino, which held the fourth and fifth spots last week, respectively, moved up to third and fourth as CricSage dropped out of the ranking. CricSage, which spent six weeks in the top five, plummeted to number 44 this week with UAWs dropping by 99.1% to 25, compared to last week's count of 2,790.

PRDT seized the vacant spot in the top five left by CricSage. PRDT, a multi-chain prediction platform accessible on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Arbitrum, has been steadily ascending in the rankings. It started off the month of April in the ninth position, steadily progressing throughout the month to attain the sixth spot last week.

In contrast to last week’s decline in UAWs, this week Trade signal experienced positive change. UAWs rose by 38.3% to 3150. However, a more impressive change was visible in volume, which climbed a whopping 81.8% to $2,970. However, this number is still far away from the top two dapps Waxcasino and Solcasino.io, which have volumes of $45,680 and $2.3m respectively.

TTCasino’s UAWs of 3,150, on the other hand, remained stable with 0% week-on-week change. Contrary to last week’s decline, this week's volume was up for TTCasino by 16.4% to $72200. In comparison, last week the dapp’s volume was $71,540.

Beyond the top 5: JuicyBet and Flip.gg remove Goal3 and UPvsDOWN

More compelling changes could be seen in the rest of the top ten. JuicyBet entered as a newcomer at spot seven, showcasing its gamblefi platform blending fintech and Polygon-based gambling.

Flip.gg, a Solana-based NFT lootbox website, entered the top 10 at the tenth position as another newcomer. It rose from number 11 last week.

These new dapp projects, which entered the top 10 this week, caused other dapps to drop out of the top 10.

For example, UPvsDOWN, which last week was eighth, fell to number 11 this week with a decrease in UAWs by 31.6% to 353.

Similarly, Goal3, which was at position nine the previous week, tumbled down to number 13, with a 43.1% decrease in UAWs to 277.
