7-day dapp update: Waxcasino leads as Solcasino.io climbs

Solcasino.io rose from fifth to second position, while Waxcasino held the top spot for the sixth week in a row

This week’s snapshot of decentralized gambling sees Waxcasino at the top of the ranking for the sixth consecutive week. Let’s delve into the details of DappRadar’s ranking of the top five gambling decentralized applications (dapps) based on unique active wallets (UAWs) over the last seven days ending on April 3, 2024.

Waxcasino: leading the pack with consistency

Maintaining its dominance for the sixth consecutive week, Waxcasino continues to assert its position at the forefront of decentralized gambling. With a modest uptick in UAWs by 7.3% to 20,280, Waxcasino exhibited resilience amid fluctuations.

On March 29, it achieved its peak performance, attracting 16,030 UAWs and a whopping 80,380 transactions. Conversely, the following day, March 30, marked its nadir, with UAWs plummeting to 271 and transactions dwindling to 1,320.

Noteworthy is its utilization of the Wax Chain, curated by OWLDAO's team, which integrates Web 3.0 to deliver an immersive gambling experience. Waxcasino offers a diverse array of more than 4000 games and sportsbook options from renowned providers.

Solcasino.io: ascending through persistence

The ascent of Solcasino.io from the fifth position on March 14 to the second spot in this week’s ranking underscores its persistent growth trajectory.

With a notable increase in UAWs by 12.2% over the past week, reaching 4,700, Solcasino.io emerges as a formidable contender for the top spot.

Facilitated by the Solana blockchain, its week-on-week volume surge from $2.08m to $2.8m signifies escalating user engagement and financial transactions.

Stability characterizes its recent performance, devoid of significant day-to-day fluctuations, indicating a steady user base and operational efficiency.

Trade Signal: navigating fluctuating user activity

Experiencing a shift from the second to the third position, Trade Signal encountered fluctuations in its user activity, evidenced by a 3.2% decrease in UAWs.

Operating on the BNB Chain, Trade Signal's performance oscillated throughout the week, reflecting variable user engagement and transactional volume.

On April 3, the peak for both UAWs and transactions occurred, reaching 1,120 and 1,150 respectively. Conversely, the lowest recorded figures were observed on March 30, with UAWs at 273 and transactions at 297. In terms of volume, there was an increase to $1,270 on March 30, followed by a decline to $80 on April 1.

Despite the instability, Trade Signal remains a noteworthy player in the decentralized gambling sphere, adapting to market dynamics and maintaining relevance.

Shell Games and CricSage: holding ground amid challenges

Shell Games and CricSage retained their respective positions from the previous week, albeit facing distinct challenges.

While Shell Games witnessed a marginal dip of 0.5% in UAWs, CricSage confronted a substantial decline of nearly 30% in user activity. Notably, despite the decline, CricSage persevered within the top five rankings, reflecting resilience amid adversity.

Both dapps encountered fluctuations throughout the week, indicating the volatile nature of decentralized gambling and the necessity for adaptive strategies to sustain engagement.

Beyond the top 5: unearthing nuanced changes

Exploring beyond the top five revealed nuanced shifts in the rankings, however, without any major developments. To illustrate, Goal3 ascended from the ninth position to claim the seventh spot, while PRDT slipped one rank from eighth to ninth.

Similarly, Azuro descended from seventh place to eighth. TTCasino maintained its sixth place, and MetaWin retained its position at number 10.

Macaw, while not securing a spot in the top 10 this week, showcased upward momentum, climbing to the 11th position from number 12.

Leveraging TelosEVM, Core, and Linea smart contracts, Macaw offers innovative features like decentralized prediction markets.
